Our E-Cream, soothing skin balm, is delicately balanced and contains a wide variety of plant extracts, which offers excellent and effective calming, soothing and anti-inflammatory benefits.
This unique formula is ideal for those who have dry/dehydrated skin, eczema, redness, rosacea and itchy/irritated skin. It is also an effective treatment for sunburns, diaper rash, insect bites and stings.
We use a variety of organic ingredients that provide natural healing benefits such as:
- Calendula – contains excellent healing and anti-inflammatory properties
- Chickweed – known for its anti-itch and anti-inflammatory properties, has a natural ability to treat a wide variety of skin ailments
- Nettle Leaf – effectively soothes itchy, irritated skin
- Peppermint – contains natural cooling properties, which helps to calm and soothe burns and contains natural anti-inflammatory properties.
- Gotu Kola – a potent multi beneficial medicinal herb, used in both traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurveda for it’s unique skin healing properties
- Chamomile – contains natural anti-inflammatory and calming properties. Beneficial for soothing the skin, relieving burns and calming irritations.

E-Cream’s unique formulation also contains a high concentration of the mineral Zinc Oxide, a white powder with wonderful astringent and skin softening properties. Zinc is amazing, because it provides approximately 28 times the skin’s natural protections against harmful UV rays and has a great soothing effect for use in many of our formulations. Combined with other great “skin protecting” organic ingredients; such as, plant extracts that are naturally high in omega 3 essential fatty acids and our locally sourced, cruelty free beeswax, E-Cream is a great option as a natural sun protection all year round!
For those who need a little extra moisture, we suggest applying E-Cream overtop any of our moisturizing serums (Neroli, Nourish, Soothe, Light, Rosehip) for increased benefits and hydration! This balm is also ideal for daily use for those who are outdoors, especially during the winters months as the E-Cream provides a hydrating protective barrier for the skin, which helps with wind burn and redness.
Lastly, if you’re wondering why E-Cream is naturally green in colour, that is due to the variety of organic herbs used in this unique formula. This great quality helps to instantly even-out and balance the skin’s complexion, like a “BB cream” or light foundation and does not make the face appear white like other conventional sunscreens do! To apply: Since this is a rich, concentrated balm a small amount of E-Cream is typically all you will need to hydrate and effectively soothe your delicate skin. You can apply it onto your entire face or even just on the areas wear your skin is irritated. To ensure this rich balm spreads easily and evenly, apply to slightly damp skin or simply add a couple drops of water to the balm on the palm of your hand and then massage onto skin for easy glide and absorption.
